Airbus Ensures Comfort On Passengers
Airbus has managed to show off their newest engines as well as their redesigned wings and cabins. Their A330-900neo airbuses could actually care more than 300 passengers, which is why one of the largest passenger airlines in the world, Delta, is looking into getting not just one, but 25 of these airbuses.
It is said to be the newest variant of the said airbuses. According to sources, the newest ones that have been shown off has a new LED lighting interior that goes well with all the colors. It is also said to have blended really well into the new seats as well as the spacious overhead luggage bins.
They have managed to deliver 10,000 planes already and Airbus believe that they are the largest passenger aircraft of today. According to the Airbus Interiors Marketing Director Roser Roca-Toha, the idea is to basically make every cabin look spacious and so they had to maximize the use of lines. Rock-Toha even compared it as to want to see how your kitchen looks when it’s all clean and tidy while seeing and feeling how much room you have.

The goal is to make the passengers feel as comfortable as possible and one way of doing it is to make sure they see their cabin really spacious. Another feature not everyone knows about is that every airline gets to choose whatever design option they would like to have on their sears, and Airbus got theirs from Recaro.
The specially made seats has a step-up on the bottom wherein it could let the passengers step up whenever they would need to get something from their overhead bins. However, one feature that passengers will surely like is the generous space they would have when they need to eat because of the adjustable hide-away-tray tables. Another thing is the six-way adjustments of the headrests, which is best for passengers who are really tall.
Airbus Tour and Research
This particular tour for the media also shows how evolved this all-new Airbus is. In fact, another new feature that was shown is how the aircraft are all new lavatory features. It actually has music now, that comes with an all-new lighting, as well as some anti-bacterial surfaces that is surrounded with refreshing scents.
It turns out that they aren’t just doing a tour or show off all the newest features of the aircraft, but also doing a testing and research on it. That is why there was an Airbus flight test engineer on the plane while the tour was going on.
He was the one monitoring the station while sitting in one of the cabins. The flight test engineer was actually in the midst of gathering data when it comes to how efficient the energy was for the ventilation of the cabins at that time. All these tests are done so that they could go a winning certification from the aviation regulators, indicating that they are good to go and ready to fly.

Its name, A330-900neo, stands for the Airbus model and the New Engine Option. Its all-new engines are actually the Rolls-Royce Trent 7000, which is said to be specifically designed to save fuel.
However, the most noticeable newest feature of the said aircraft is its wings. According to Peter Finn, who is the product marketing manager of the for the Airbus A330, the new wing is actually optimized all the way from the tip up to the roof.
The new wings have curved sharklets which are considered to be incredibly unique, and it is not just for design purposes, because this actually helps when it comes to saving fuel as well. This is because the said sharklets would help the wings slice into the air. So far, there are now 224 orders of this particular aircraft, including the ones ordered by Delta.
