The Drama
Ever since the release of the documentary, social media has been divided into two. Selena shared in an interview how she never fit in with the cool group of celebrities. She said that to her, it felt that she didn’t belong and that her only real friend in the industry was Taylor Swift.
After this interview was made public, the star of “How I Met Your Father,” Francia Garcia, responded “interesting” on a post that was made on Instagram highlighting Selena’s comment. Stephanie Tleiji, a famous Tiktoker, took it upon herself to give a context of the situation by posting a video on Tiktok. Seeing this, Selena commented under the TikTok, saying, “Sorry I didn’t mention every person I know.”

Selena’s Lupus Disease
Gomez and Garcia met for the very first time while visiting a children’s hospital way back in 2007. It has been reported that the two have stayed friends ever since. Amid Selena’s battle with Lupus, Francia donated one of her kidneys to the star in 2017, to which Selena said that she had no words to thank her friend for the ultimate sacrifice and gift that she gave her. She ended by saying that she feels incredibly blessed and she loves Garcia. The two have stayed close for over a decade and even called each other sisters at one point.
