ARMYs, reserve your tickets because BTS is coming to town! The global K-pop sensation boy group recently announced that they will be launching two pop stores just in time for their upcoming anthology album “Proof.”
The popular K-pop group is hosting “Proof” pop-up shops in New York City and Los Angeles starting Friday to celebrate its upcoming album. The shops are described as “vibrant thematic anthology celebrations of BTS’ historic rise and continued success on the global stage.”
BTS’ “Proof” pop-up stores offer fans an immersive experience to celebrate the album, with each location offering exclusive merchandise as well as past merchandise from previous albums and tours. Each location will offer fans the opportunity to dance, sing, and pose like the world-famous K-pop boy group. They can expect multiple photo booths, photo-op shops, video ops, and even tiny karaoke zones to sing and dance along to the group’s ever-green discography.
The seven-member group, which is comprised of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook, is arguably the biggest K-pop group in the world. The group has been in the music industry for more than a decade, releasing its first album in 2013. BTS has received two Grammy nominations and was named Artist of the Year at the American Music Awards in 2021.
While the first two discs are available on streaming and digital retailers, the majority of Proof’s third disc is CD-only and filled with demos, deep cuts, and solo a capella tracks like Jungkook’s Still With You, Jin’s Epiphany and group demos of Boy In Luv, Boyz with Fun, Seesaw and more, the outlet shared.
Proof acts as a “Chronicle Of BTS”
The accompanying music video for “Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)” was released on Friday alongside the anthology album, in which the septet promises to their devoted fanbase that “the best moment is yet to come” with a heartfelt, celebratory chorus. Ahead of the album`s release, each of the seven bandmates, in a series of intimate videos posted to the official BTS YouTube channel shared their reasons and inspirations behind the tracks they selected for ‘Proof.’
The first disc begins with a remastered version of “Born Singer,” from all the way back in 2013, which the press release describes as “BTS’ candid emotions they felt after one month of their debut.” The disc ends with the lead single “Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment).”
The second disc consists of “15 solo and sub-unit tracks,” beginning with the new track “Run BTS,” and highlights each BTS member’s distinct tastes and personality. The third disc, only available on CD, is said to be “dedicated to the fans,” featuring unreleased tracks and demo versions that any fan will eat up, as well as a new fan song, “For Youth.”
